Honey production would be impossible without our industrious bees. We have 3300 bee colonies for which we choose the best locations – the sunny slopes of the Predbalkan. The area boasts lush foraging grounds and clean water. The abundance of acacia and linden trees is highly suitable for beekeeping. The selection of environmentally clean areas is of enormous importance for honey quality.
Acacia honey is distinguished by its outstanding characteristics. It crystalizes much more slowly than traditional honey which makes it the preferred choice of many. Its colour is light and golden-yellow. Its taste is delicate and mild. Raw acacia honey contains akacine, essential oils and robinin and has excellent antibacterial properties. It also helps with gastro-intestinal issues and sleeplessness.
Linden blossom is what gives linden honey its characteristic fragrance. This type of honey is rich in farnesol which has a soothing effect on the nervous system. Linden honey helps against coughs and successfully treats bronchitis. It is light yellow in colour with a wonderful aroma and remarkable taste.
Our capacity is 2500 splits per year – highly-selective, limited quantities.
